VEGAS LEX organizes seminar on concessions at Bank of MoscowThe VEGAS LEX law firm has held a seminar, Signing a Concession Agreement: an Insider's Insight, for the staff of Bank of Moscow legal department and business divisions. The event took place on October 14, organized by Alexandra Vasyukhnova and Anton Lavrentyev of VEGAS LEX’s Technology and Investment Group, and Ivan Lavrentyev of the PPP & Infrastructure Practice. The participants discussed key parameters of public-private partnership projects, the various options for implementing investment projects, the procedure for announcing and holding a concession tender, requirements for concession bidders and for concession tender documents, major provisions included in a concession agreement (such as changing and terminating the agreement, compensation of expenses, raising funding for the project, and ways to ensure that the holder abides by the agreement’s terms) and other issues.
