Tax authorities' decision is reversed by the courtIn December 2004, Vegas-Lex attorneys prevailed on behalf of the REEMTSMA Tobacco Plant in a dispute with the customs authorities at the trial level in the Arbitration Court of Volgograd Province. The Arbitration Court reversed the decision of the Southern Customs Administration (Rostov-on-Don) and the Volgograd Customs Office to impose administrative liability on the Firm's client for filing a false customs declaration. The court held that these decisions were unlawful. |
