November 25, 2011, Partner, Director of Regional Development at VEGAS LEX, spoke at the V International Conference of IBA "Law Firm Management", a two day event in Moscow organized by LegalStudies.RU in collaboration with International Bar Association (IBA). The event carried out a key theme: A new era for the economy of Russia and the CIS - challenges and opportunities for local and international firms. It brought together the leaders of the professional legal community and experts in law firm management fr om around the world to discuss recent economic and political changes which influence the legal market in Russia and CIS countries and to present their forecasts for the next few years.

He spoke at one of the plenary sessions of "Strategy for law firms in the changing economic conditions", wh ere participants, in a free form discussion, exchanged professional experience in planning operations of a law firm in a rapidly changing and often uncertain environment. They discussed reliable and successful in the experts opinion concepts, methods and tools for strategic planning. Each speaker presented his vision of addressing the following questions: how to formulate a strategy for a company in one sentence and within the shortest period of time; how to communicate this strategy and core values to the employees, colleagues and clients; what are the key factors of strategic risks that experts see for their practice at the present moment; what are the scenarios of the preparation for different outcomes; which parameters should be constantly monitored to evaluate the indicators of  the strategy performance; what to do to achieve the goals on a regular basis.
