December 19 The Vedomosti published the second annual ranking of law firms Pravo.Ru-300, which recognized VEGAS LEX as the best law firm in antitrust law and a leader in other categories.

Pravo.Ru-300 rating is the most systematic national study of the legal market in Russia. The Vedomosti became a partner of the project Pravo.Ru. The results of the rating were audited by Ernst&Young. To collect and process data from more than 250 candidate companies the rating agency spent almost six months. The leaders were picked up from 13 industrycategories based on their revenue, number of attorneys, and their reputation.

In the category "TOP-50 Moscow law firms with the largest number of attorneys" VEGAS LEX was ranked 4^th (currently 100 attorneys work for VEGAS LEX).

In the "Reputation rating" VEGAS LEX was also ranked 4^th among 30 candidates; the firm was placed ahead of such major players as Goltsblat BLP, Salans, and White& Case. This rating was established based on the opinions of the clients.

In addition to winningin "Antitrust Law" nomination, VEGAS LEX received the first rankings (group 1) in the following categories:

• Corporate Law/M&A (2nd place);
• Commercial real estate/construction (2nd place);
• Natural Resources/Energy (2nd place);
• Labor Law (3rd place).

In group 2, law firm VEGAS LEX was noted in the following categories: Arbitration and Tax Law. Each nomination from the category "The best law firms in areas of the law" was divided into two groups, except for the areas of Intellectual Property and Telecom& Media, in which VEGAS LEX was also recognized (4th and 2d position respectively).
