For the first time VEGAS LEX takes part in the V Legal Forum in SiberiaOn March 23, 2012, Partner and Director of Regional Development at VEGAS LEX, participated in the V Legal Forum in Novosibirsk, Siberia: "20-year anniversary of legal business in Russia. The first five years of the legal business forum in Siberia".Representatives of the major law firms and legal practices from Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Barnaul, Surgut, as well as regional government and city authorities discussed the role of attorneys in the changing conditions of modern life. Не spoke at a roundtable on "Practicing lawyers in the fight against corruption". The participants were invited to share openly their experiences of anti-corruption practice and identify a number of conditions that create an incentive to commit corrupt acts. The decision was reached to forward the most notable actions and feasible proposals on fighting corruption in the judicial sphere to the Judicial Department of the Superior Court of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, the Legislation Committee of the State Duma, and the media.
