On 16 May 2013 law firm VEGAS LEX co-organized two round table discussions at the major event in the sphere of law - St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
Managing Partner of VEGAS LEX Alexander Sitnikov was one of the principal speakers at the round table «Development of the legal model of electric power market: how to overcome contradictions and to compromise" and dedicated his report to the issues on statutory and court regulation of contractual relations between the entities, as well as on the basis for emergence of contradictions and disputes in this sphere. The expert gave special priority to the examples of law enforcement practice, as well as to the options of "additional" statutory regulation.
The round table meeting "Implementation of major round-table projects: project finance, PPP and other mechanisms" was also supported by Vegas Lex. The co-moderator of the event was the partner, the chairman of the Board of partners of VEGAS LEXAlbert Eganyan and the vice-president of Gazprombank Alexey Chichkanov. The participants of the round table discussed the current crucial aspects of infrastructure projects implementation in Russia, and shared their experience of effectively overcoming legal barriers and contradictions in the legislation.
Internationally recognized experts shared their vision of resolution of complicated issues facing the infrastructure projects, and namely: problems of capitalization, finance, structuring, deadline management.
The same day upon completion of the formal part of the forum VEGAS LEX made an exclusive present to the participants - a night event at one of the most fashionable locations of the capital of the North - view terrace miXup of the legendary hotel W.
The guests enjoyed magnificent views of Saint-Petersburg and masterpieces of the prominent photographers of both capitals, tasted the dainty dished of the French cuisine, and had nice time with colleagues and friends.

St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is the main legal event of the year in Russia, Eastern Europe and CIS countries, which annually brings together thousands of lawyers, politicians, representatives of business and science community from all over the world.
It was not the first time VEGAS LEX has been a partner of this major and high-profile event.
