The event is organized by Russia’s Public-Private Partnership Center and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, with the support from the Ministry of Economic Development.
VEGAS LEX’s Albert Eganyan, who chairs the Partners’ Council, will moderate the plenary discussion – PPP Ideology or PPP as an Ideology. The participants will discuss the potential areas for development of the legal framework for public-private partnership, sources of financing for infrastructure projects, international experience and other important PPP-related issues.
The speakers will include Minister for Open GovernmentMikhail Abyzov, Deputy Transport Minister Oleg Belozyorov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov and others.
Head of the Aviation and Airport Development Group at VEGAS LEX, will moderate the discussion Airports: Sources of Regional Development Impulse.The meeting will focus on the current state of the Moscow air hub airports and prospects for their development.
Several aviation and transport experts have been invited to join this discussion, including Anton Koren, General Director of the Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation; Vasily Shipilov, head of the transport and communications reform unit at the EconomicsMinistry’sDepartment for the State Regulation of Tariffs, Infrastructure Reforms and Energy Efficiency; and Yevgeny Glumov, deputy head of the Development Department of the Moscow Transport Hub Directorate.
The PPP Week events will be attended by representatives of the Presidential Executive Office, of concerned ministries and government agencies, the Federation Council and the State Duma, as well as by senior executives of banks and major industrial companies, experts, academics, public organizations and the media.
