VEGAS LEX Partner and Regional Development Director, spoke at the second plenary session of the conference, International standards and corporate anti-corruption practices. He reported on the results of a nationwide research project, Anti-Corporate Fraud Practices, implemented by VEGAS LEX and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The Union’s president, Alexander Shokhin, also spoke at the conference, as did State Secretary Oleg Fomichov, deputy economic development minister; Andrei Klimenko, director of the Institute for Public Administration and Municipal Management at the Higher School of Economics; Oleg Plokhoi, head of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Department; Dmitry Basnak, head of the civil service development department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and others.
The event was attended by representatives of legislative and executive authorities, of major state holding companies and research organizations, private corporations and public associations, and mass media.
