VEGAS LEX supports PharmaStrategies-2015 summit
The first day program includes a series of events in varied formats aimed at exchanging hands-on information on the most important and up-to-date issues in the industry. The summit is expected to be attended by over 350 participants including the pharmaceutical industry leaders.
On October 3, the participants will gather for a plenary meeting, Regulatory Challenges of the Pharmaceuticals Market in 2015, organized with VEGAS LEX’s intensive support. The industry’s regulation issues and the current geopolitical situation have been posing a major challenge, so the organizers decided to hold a separate plenary session and devote it to a broad dialogue between business leaders and government officials The participants will discuss the most critical issues, such as: pharmaceuticals circulation, government quality control, effective protection mechanisms for innovative medicines, the fulfillment and long-term prospects of government contracts on the pharmaceutical market, funding sources for the government's drug reimbursement program and pilot projects, information security issues in the light of the recent amendments to the Federal Law On Circulation of Medicines, and other issues. The plenary meeting will be moderated by VEGAS LEX Managing partner Alexander Sitnikov. The guest speakers will share their views on the above-mentioned issues: Timofei Nizhegorodtsev; head of the FAS Department for Control over Commerce and Social Sphere; Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Sergei Tsyb; Chairman of the State Duma Healthcare Committee Sergei Kalashnikov; Yelena Maksimkina, director of the Department for Pharmacological Support and Regulation of the Circulation of Medical Supplies at the Ministry of Healthcare; Deputy Economic Development Minister Yevgeny Yelin; Maxim Chemerisov, Director of the Department of Contract System Development of the Ministry of Economic Development; Oleg Kuznetsov, head of the Federal Tariff Service Department for Price Regulation in Industry and Social Sphere; Olga Kolotilova, head of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Trade; and ViktoriaGalkovskaya, head of the patent law department and civil service advisor at the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
