Antifraud: Managing personal and corporate fraud risksOn December 8, 2014 the VEGAS LEX law firm organized a roundtable Antifraud for Senior Executives: Personal and Corporate Fraud Risk Management. VEGAS LEX Partner and head of Southern Directorate Maxim Grigoryev were on the panel. The participants discussed the reasons and prerequisite for fraud*, as well as related risks and possibilities for risk management in this context. The speakers discussed several case studies with the audience to evaluate fraud risks for the company and particularly for its senior executives. They considered the circumstances, prerequisites and the probability of various fraud risks, as well as practical methods company executives can use to minimize them. Expert also spoke about the “Fighting Corporate Fraud” nationwide study, a research aimed at evaluating the gravity of this problem in Russian companies; identifying the most dangerous types of corporate fraud; identifying the vest practices of fighting corporate fraud and ways to restore the company’s rights and recover its losses; working out effective tools for preventing corporate fraud and dealing with its consequences.
