Alexander Sitnikov discusses the use of technical indicators for making deals on oil and refined product markets
Managing Partner Alexander Sitnikov spoke at the session devoted to the analysis of the current situation and the main trends in the motor fuel markets in Russia and the CIS, Petroleum Product Markets in Russia and the CIS in Today's Economic Environment.
Mr. Sitnikov talked about using technical indicators for transactions involving oil and petroleum products. In particular, he reviewed the Russian petroleum product market, explained the market structure, and discussed the current level of competition on the oil market and the dynamics of consumer prices in Russia and the world. The expert commented on the situation with state regulation of prices on the oil market, also mentioning the Fourth antimonopoly amendments package in that context.
The participants also discussed the current oil market situation, the supply and demand trends, a medium term market forecast, and other key issues.
